KPM for Linux?

I have seen a couple old / closed posts on this topic, but I am pleading anew:

Kaspersky, I’m begging will you PLEASE create a Linux compatible version of Kaspersky Password Manager? This is by far your best and most useful software, and many customers (current and otherwise) would love to be able to use it on Linux. I got fed up with Windows and using KPM is one of the only things I miss. There must be other people in the same boat.

I think it would be most useful if optimized for Ubuntu and/or Red Hat, but I’ll take anything.

Please reply if you would like to use KPM on Linux as well!

In view of the fact that support for Win 10 will end in fall 2025, it is time for Kaspersky to launch a Linux version of Password Manager. I have been a customer of the program for years and own a PC that is not Win 11 compatible. I can't and don't want to buy a new PC. My device is perfectly suitable for my purposes but is already several years old. Therefore, I think in the interest of the many customers who use Kaspersky Password Manager and, like me, have no possibility to buy a new PC but want to continue using the program, the company should fulfill our wish.

Hello, any update on this? Just need KPM on Linux. What make it soo hard?

It's quite clear Kaspersky does not have any interest on porting KPM to linux which sounds weird since it is already on Mac.

It's a shame we will have to look for other products from other companies.

TO BE CLEAR, I WOULD DEFINITELY USE IT ON LINUX RIGHT NOW.

+1, it's now 2023 - still no Linux application.

Deeply considering switching to Dashlane.

Forgot about posting this. Went to Dashlane and then to Bitwarden 🙂 I'm not switching again.

Guys,

we know about Linux. Unfortunatly for us it is very costly. We do plan to support it but we will have to rewrite our client application for this - it will take time.

It is with regret that I receive this news. As a current Kaspersky customer, I feel compelled to seek another solution that meets my needs.

I will cancel my current subscription, since few people are using linux right now, I don't think we are a concern.

Remember the massive ammounts of people stuck now in windows 10 which cannot upgrade to windows 11 due to the lack of TPM. I will move as many as I can to linux desktop and we shall need a password manager. I am really sad that I won't be counting on your support.

there are posts from 2019 about this subject,  just please be honest and we can all move on.

Sorry to hear that. We understand the need for Linux, but its development involves high costs and takes time. Unfortunately, this is a consequence of the choices we made initially when we selected our development framework.

Currently the chances to get linux version are higher because ew are planning to switch to another framework. But for sure it will not be done till the end of the next year.
