Kaspersky Standard - how to COMPLETELY disable every single last part of it for n minutes?

So. This software is preventing me accessing my own websites. Something to do with its clever "script injection". I get 499 Error. But if you turn it off then it just hangs while it tries to contact a kaspersky server. How do you completely turn this thing off so I can work on my own sites? The "pause" feature doesn't stop it trying (and failing) to contact its own servers.

(For background - this has wasted 2 hours of my time already(

have you tried temporarily disabling script injection under network settings?

Hello @XXXXXXXXXXXX

Also, if the suggestion from @petsy works, add a Trusted addresses exclusion & re-enable the Inject script into web traffic to interact with web pages, so functionality is not lost:

Any problems or issues, please post back?

Thank you?

Going back to the OP's original question of "how do you pause Kaspersky Standard for n minutes?"

When I was using Kaspersky Internet Security before Standard, I would just right click the Kaspersky Icon in the System tray and I could pause for n minutes. Now, in Standard, when I right click the icon in the System Tray nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? I'm using Windows 11.

Hello @scottishdave

Welcome!

In Windows, Taskbar, *Hidden icons* - *rightclick* the Kaspersky icon -> select Pause protection

Hi Flood, thanks for your response but I already have done as you have suggested.

I have the Kaspersky icon in the system tray and the Taskbar.

I might un-install and re-install Kaspersky Standard and report back.

By the way, I use to pause Kaspersky Internet Security the same way with no problems.

Hi Flood,
I re-installed my Kaspersky Standard and the issue is still there. How do I connect with Kaspersky Support so I they can direct me on how to send a system diagnostics report?

Update: I've just had a chat with Kaspersky Support and they are going to investigate further.

2. How do I connect with Kaspersky Support so I they can direct me on how to send a system diagnostics report?

Hello @scottishdave

Thank you for posting back & the information!

  1. *Make sure Windows is a commercially released version, not Preview, Beta & OR Development*
  2. To log a request with Kaspersky Customer Service, https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts - select either Email or Chat, then fill in the template as shown; include a *detailed history*
  • *Also* -> IF using Chat - *before* ending the chat -> ask the operator to email (you) a copy of the chat transcript - otherwise (you'll) have no record of the chat*    image.thumb.png.6d2d35acf1e95fa05731d8d421b91836.png

Please share the outcome with the Community, when it's available?

Thank you?
