Kaspersky Protection extension question

Greetings folks,

Will the Kaspersky Protection extension now not be updated due to its removal from the Chrome Store?

I'm aware there are workarounds for using Android, for example the Galaxy Store, but I am using Windows, so there isn't that option available.

I use Microsoft Edge, and the extension information for the Kaspersky Protection Extension says it is from the Chrome store, as opposed to the Edge store.

Obviously, the extension is currently installed on my PC as I have had Kaspersky installed on my system for years, but I am wondering, because it is updated via the store, whether it will no longer be updated.

Any information, chaps?

Welcome back!

1. KPE has *always* been from the Chrome Web Store, that's why, when installing it in the Edge browser, it's *necessary* to toggle ON the Allow extensions from other stores button. 
2. KPE will continue to be updated, it's distribution is outside of the US, scroll down to View in Chrome Web Store then to Details.

It's strange that.  If I click the extension and select view in Chrome store, it shows up in the Chrome Web Store, but if I search it manually from the Chrome Web Store itself, I cannot find it. 

As long as the extension continues to be updated, then all is good.

Not strange at all!

KPE cannot be found via generic search. 

Similar to if you were to search for an app in MS, likely it would not be found.
