Hello,

I can't install Kaspersky Premium on my PC.

Installer: kaspersky4win2021 21.26.4.406 en_ar (online installer from kaspersky.com)
Windows version: [e.g. Windows 10 / 11, 64-bit]

What happens (screenshots attached):

1. The installer opens and shows "Everything is set to install Kaspersky app!" I click Continue.

2. On the "Get the most out of your subscription" screen (Password Manager option), I click Continue.

3. A blank Kaspersky Premium window opens with the message "Can't reach this page", and the installation doesn't continue.

Sometimes I also get this error instead: "To continue installation, you must reinstall .NET Desktop Runtime manually."

What I've already tried:

• Installed .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.31 (x64 and x86) from Microsoft's website and restarted the PC

• Tried the latest .NET Desktop Runtime version

• Ran kavremover. It says "Product was not detected," so no old Kaspersky version is installed

The same errors still appear. Which .NET Desktop Runtime version does this installer need, and how can I fix the "Can't reach this page" window?

From what specific URL site did You get the installer? Global?

Thank you for the reply. I downloaded the installer from [https://me-en.kaspersky.com/downloads/premium], and also tried a fresh one from the link you sent (kaspersky4win202121.26.4.406en_ar_46690.exe). Same result.

The installer behaves differently depending on how I run it (screenshots attached):

1. Run normally (double-click): The new setup window opens correctly ("Everything is set to install Kaspersky app!"). I click Continue, then Continue again on the Password Manager / KSN screen. Then a "Kaspersky Premium" window opens showing "Can't reach this page", and the installation doesn't continue.

2. Run as administrator: The older setup window opens (language selection), then says "Microsoft .NET Framework was not found on your device." I click Continue, and it shows "To continue installation, you must reinstall .NET Desktop Runtime manually."

.NET is installed:

• .NET Framework 4.8 is installed (Microsoft's installer confirms ".NET Framework 4.8 or a later update is already installed").

• .NET Desktop Runtime 5.0, 6.0, 8.0 and 10.0 are installed in both x64 and x86 (checked with dotnet --list-runtimes).

What I've already tried:

• DISM /RestoreHealth and sfc /scannow (SFC found and repaired corrupt files)

• Clean boot (all non-Microsoft services and startup apps disabled)

• Uninstalled RivaTuner Statistics Server and MSI Afterburner

• [Closed / uninstalled] PlanetVPN

• Ran kavremover: "Product was not detected"

• Hosts file is clean, no proxy

From the kl-setup log (when run as administrator), the setup UI process crashes immediately:
UI process exit code: 575 … Wpf proxy create failed … The application was unable to start correctly
followed by Failed to initialize preferred UI, because of not operable dotnet.

System: Windows 10 22H2 (build 19045), 64-bit.

The kl-setup log is attached. Please advise.
