Kaspersky Firefox Addon is using 40% of CPU.

I am having the same problem.  Not sure exactly what precipitated it.  Kaspersky or Firefox.  It was always a bit slow but after the latest Firefox update it is absolutely TERRIBLE.  Disabling Kaspersky plugin and problem goes away... SO MUCH BETTER.   This is absolutely ridiculous.  What is interesting is that it gets worse with time.  I shut down Firefox to get it to go away.  Certain content works better than others but after 3-5 minutes of being on, the lags and freezes are constant, even when Firefox is just running in the background.  Honestly, I don't trust what it is doing and am probably going to change my Antivirus software after years of trusting Kaspersky.

I've the same problem. Chrome it's almost unusable with the extension enabled on a  i9-13900K. If I disable the Chrome extension, everything back to normal, so I recommend everyone to disable the Kaspersky extension meanwhile
