Kaspersky Cloud duplicate computers in workspace after PC rename

The issue comes after rename the computers that are assigned to another person. It will appear in the workspace twice and even still apperaring after removing software with Kavremover.

The used licences are affected by this behavior.

  1. Versión: Kaspersky Cloud Plus (Kaspersky Bussines Hub)
  2. By Workspace i mean the place in the Cloud Console where you add devices to an specific user

Desription of the issue: if I rename a computer locally,  it will appear in the console Twice. This Behavior makes to apply 2 licencies for one duplicated Device.

Hello,

please try the following command from the installation folder of the Network Agent locally in an administrative CMD Windows on client:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\NetworkAgent\klmover -dupfix

Await the synchronization time and check if the problem is still available.

If yes uninstall the Network Agent and KES on the client and create a new Installationpackage in cloud and reinstall the product.

Be aware KAVRemover will NOT uninstall the Network Agent. That's the reason why you still see the client in your Cloud Console.

Unfortunately the Network Agent cannot be installed separately without KES in Endpoint Cloud usage. It is always installed with the relevant Cloud settings by the Installationpackage provided.

If the problem cannot be solved open a ticket with Support
