kaspersky plus Is the KavRemover App now a legacy App?

In the past I have always used  the Kaspersy Software removal tool ... kavremover.exe ... before installing a different version of Kaspersky protection.

So before Installing Kaspersky Plus, I ran the app kavremover.exe but it didn't remove Kaspersky Internet Security as hoped, so used Windows uninstall instead.

Is kavremover.exe  now a redundant legacy App?

In fact, KAVREMOVER it is only recommended in those cases K. standard uninstaller via Windows Control Panel -> Programs and Features has issues or get fail.

 

Standard uninstaller via Windows uninstaller was always and still is the default method to uninstall K. products.

personal advice:

you should always use windows control panel to remove a software in the first place

than you should reboot 

after that you can choose to use kavremoval to make sure that the product is completely removed.

you need to indicate the very version of K product you have previously installed. than start the removal.

Make sure you always use the latest version of kavremoval tool. just re-download it when you use it.
