Hello @Sulandil

Welcome!

Using Kaspersky Firewall, Packet rules, use the URL *IP address* in the *Remote Addresses* field - when (you've) configured the rule, save the configured rule, confirm the change, *move* the rule to the top of the list:

Thanks @Flood and Flood's wife for this solution, but it is not very convenient. For example, I want to block the domain yandex.ru, which uses dynamic IP address allocation to reduce the load on servers. Is there any way to specify a domain name rather than an IP?

Hello @Sulandil

You're most welcome!

  1. No, not using Kaspersky Premium. Using KSK, Web activity monitoring, it can be done. It would initially involve installing & configuring KSK: here's a link to the *full* KSK library: Kaspersky Safe Kids for Windows & this solution will only work for the configured child profile - so, we anticipate (your) response will be "it's not very convenient ..."😅

  • IF (you) wish - you're welcome to raise a case with: Kaspersky Customer Service, on the support page: https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts - select either Chat or Email, then fill in Feedback, I have a complaint template - see image below; please include any screen images of the error & a *detailed* history:

Hello @Sulandil

Update: from Russia - with love, in the latest product version (21.15) Kaspersky packet rules can be configured for domain exclusions, see images below:

*Remember*, after configuring, saving & confirming the exclusion, to move the *new* rule to the top of the Packet rules table.

@Sulandil

Update, we sent an extra question to the experts:

1. In 21.5 - once the rule is configured & saved - is it still required to move the new rule to the top of the table?

Their response:

  • No, the blocking rule will work in any case; not depending on the position in the list.

----

& that's a very welcome change, because moving each new rule, manually 16 steps up or more up that table is

Thank you🙏
