Firefox won't load webpages

Mac Ventura M1.

Firefox won't load pages with Kaspersky Standard on.
It worked fine with Internet Security.
When I turn off Kaspersky then Firefox works perfectly.

I have to 'reload' every page for it to display.

I have disabled any extensions.
Do I need to change settings?
I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Kaspersky and Firefox.

Hello @nuttynoah

  1. *Also* exit Firefox, in Kaspersky, select General, select Protection - *uncheck* Check secure connections - start Firefox, do Firefox webpages show?
  2. When the webpages *don't* resolve - what do you see - a totally blank page - an error - something else?

Thank you🙏

And you upgraded kaspersky or something? Before working fine and now not works?

Yes, I previously had Internet Security, for years, and it was great.

Then when I installed Standard the problems started.

This seems to have fixed it!

Will I have any security issues having unchecked Check secure connections ?

Contact Tech support... Unchecking or disabling something is not solution.
I never unchceck something in my antivirus.

Hello @nuttynoah,

Brilliant! Well done!

We'd like you to submit the issue to Kaspersky please - a conflict b/w Standard & Firefox is not normal, & the *workaround* is more to test IF the issue resolves rather than provide an *actual* solution....

Please log a request with Kaspersky Customer Service  - https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts  -
on the support page, select either Chat or Email, then fill in the template as shown; please include a *detailed history* Support may request logs, traces & other data, they will guide you:

Please share the outcome with the Community, when it's available?
Thank you🙏

Hello,

Try to disable KL product self-defense and exit it.

Go to "C:\programdata\kaspersky lab\AVP21.xxx\Report", delete all file in that folder.

restart KL product, any better?

Regards.

Hi @Wesly.Zhang

Thank you for your input!
Mac Ventura M1, not Windows.

Thank you🙏

I have had this problem too, the only fix I had found was remove it off my PC for good.

  • 2 weeks later...

Here is the solution from Kaspersky.

"Please find our experts' response to your query below:
Looks similar to bug 7510936.
---
09:37:32.097 53130 INF trafmon ProxySession(988): Client data receive stopped 0x80000063 (Not ready)
09:37:32.097 53130 DBG si.cr InterceptedConnection(988) Request to close connection on behalf of client
---
Developers believe the issue is connected with Firefox feature DOH - "DNS over HTTPS".
Please disable DOH, it should help fix the problem
."

So, I disabled DOH in Firefox and in kaspersky settings I checked on "check secure connections (HTTPS) for safe..."

And the problem returned.  I am waiting for the solution.
