The basic info requested:

  • Windows 10, version 22H2
  • Kaspersky Premium, version 21.18.5.438(a)
  • The game "Let's Build a Zoo" keeps being flagged as having a trojan under the name of PDM:Exploit.Win32.Generic and another under PDM:Exploit.Win32.Generic.nblk and Kaspersky shuts it down and deletes the file in question (the .exe of the game). This has rendered the game unplayable.

Any time I try to run the game, Kaspersky closes it down with the following report.
I have tried to reach out to both the publisher and developer, and they are adamant it is a false positive and that it is because it "was developed on an older software".

Hi all. Has anything ever come of this? Obviously I'm having a similar issue at the moment and struggling to find info on it online. @Berny , you made OP contact support and thereby closing thread. @Gamewatch, can you share your findings please?

@Philosoraptor Welcome.

Your best option is to contact Kaspersky Technical Support.
Please see  article  ' Files to send to Kaspersky technical support in case of PDM malware detection ' :
