Dear all,

I have understood that the folder C:\ProgramData\KasperskyLab\adminkit\1093\.working\FTServer is using lots of space and is growing gradually. I am not using my KSC server as WSUS server. Does it suffice to uncheck the following settings?

Thanks in advance,

Good day

It's all about telling the client that these parameters are not configured by policy and that he can configure them himself.

you can close the locks so that users cannot break them. and disable the use of KSC in the WSUS role.

in order for the KSC to download updates from you, in addition to enabling the use of KSC in the WSUS role.

you should have two tasks:

1. Synchronize WSUS updates

2. Install required updates and fix vulnerabilities - WSUS

To free up disk space, use the information in their help.

Hi @ElvinE5

I have selected all of them to be deleted for 2 days. But none of them have been deleted. I have also stopped all the tasks on the server to decrease its load. Do you think something is preventing the deletion procedure?

Thanks ,

In this matter, I can't tell for sure...

as it is written in the help "put in the queue for deletion"

but when he does it...

and there is also a warning.

check the size of the folders in which the updates were stored ... did it change after the "deletion"

@ElvinE5

Nothing changed after several hours. Inevitably, I moved the files to another place in order to free up storage. It is really weird why this is not working on the console.

Thanks for your help

Hi,

I deleted the files manually but they have been creates again. I decided to decline updates in the list, however I was prompt that I need a license for Vulnerability and Patch Management.

to automatically close vulnerabilities and patch management, you really need a license for something like Advanced

however, with a Select license, in theory, you can close them manually through the KSC, each time selecting the necessary updates and creating manual fix tasks for vulnerabilities.

To do this, disable this item in the menu (after that don't forget to restart the console)

select updates and create a task.

as you can see, I don't have a key for KSC

Thanks @ElvinE5

I also searched deeply about this issue. The files won't be deleted. I hope the free disk space will not decrease after modifying the policy settings.
