  2. I guess everyone else sees UDP traffic in their Network Monitor ? Never got around to creating a ticket. Its a pretty simple question; either you do or you don’t. If a lot of you don’t, then there is an issue or possibly an explanation why Kaspersky chose not to report UDP traffic.
  3. @Mitch Only Kaspersky Lab can confirm or deny a false positive.
  4. OK, but do you believe this is a false positive if a full scan was run beforehand (1 hour before detection) using Kaspersky, a MalwareBytes scan and another Antivirus all came back negative?
  5. @Mitch We can’t request reports and logs that may contain personal or confidential data which doesn’t comply with our community rules. Your only option is Kaspersky Lab Technical Support which is only available for paid versions.
  6. @Berny Is this just a False Positive then? The FRST files have been checked by people on Bleeping Computer and they said nothing is there, If you want, I can upload logs from Kaspersky and FRST here.

  8. @Mitch Kaspersky is either deleting or moving a FP in Quarantine (> please check) and if it comes out that the object is clean after reanalyze K-Lab will update their Database definitions. Anyway if nothing gets detected after scanning means that your system is clean.

  11. @Speedy199 Bonjour et bienvenu sur le Forum. Quelle version KTS utilisez-vous ? 21.2.16.590(b) ? Avez-vous essayé un clic droit sur un dossier ainsi qu’ un fichier ? Pouvez-vous également vérifier si le fichier “shellex.dll” est activé au démarrage: CCleaner > Outils > Démarrage > Menu contextuel > “shellex.dll” (AO Kaspersky Lab)

    v 21.2.16.590, is Background scan what used to be called Rootkit scan in v20?

    Hello @Martin839, Welcome! Apparently, according to Kaspersky level 1 support, the original Rootkit scan is now called Idle scan & or Background scan. @Igor Kurzin, please confirm? IF that is correct, it’s not running according to the parameters defined in the documentation. Thank you🙏 Flood🐳 +🐋

    je possède deux postes l’installation sur l’un semble s’être bien passée mais pour celui-ci, je n’ai pas rencontré de souci lié à windows ni edge. Sur l’autre, microsoft defender semble TOUJOURS activé alors que j’avais fait en sorte de le désactiver complètement le lien vers kaspersky ne donne rien puisque je ne peux pas entrer dans une quelconque appli. Même après avoir installe la dite appli, puis redémarré, je me rends que cette dernière n’est TOUJOURS pas installée. Tout est bloqué, je tourne en rond

  21. Here is the deal, my computer started to act a bit slow while playing video games around a week ago and I don’t often click on any weird links or any ads or anything but still I got paranoid. I have ESET protection fully enabled and also MalwareBytes scanner as second option. I scanned with MalwareBytes and ESET both and nothing came up, I downloaded Kaspersky in case and ran a full scan and a background scan and again nothing came up. About maybe an hour later all of a sudden I get a message saying I have MEM:Trojan.Win32.SEPEH.gen and it automatically cleaned it for me but I don’t even know why I got the message an hour later when I was just playing video games with friends and ran a full scan earlier. Why didn’t the full scan pick up the virus? Is this just some sort of false positive? I got lucky and ran FRST maybe an hour and half before getting the virus notification, I have posted a thread to bleeping computer with my FRST.txt and other relevant files in the post. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/739501/memtrojanwin32sepehgen/#entry5105110 Can you please tell me what is going on? I used the computer in the meantime to do some purchases and wish to know if I should be prepared for any issues in that regard. Thank you.
  22. Yes it is. I intend to subcribe KTS license for using in a windows PC and for KPM on that PC and iPhone/iPad. Yes, correct. It is My Kaspersky account.
  23. The monitor is a 32” benq 4k…. GPU is a GTX 980, it also happened with a RTX 2080. It’s not constantly reproducible. But it is an annoyance. Can also happen with GPU Driver installation. The only solution is to exit Kaspersky and restart it.

  25. Hello community, May I know if the KPM license included in Kaspersky total security is also valid for mobile devices? For example I have a total security license which includes KPM license. I installed KPM on my PC and it works well. May I use this license for smartphones application such as iOS or I need to subcribe the sparate license for KPM? Thanks a bunch in advance.
