  1. Can anyone tell me whether my Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.9.0.351 is going to detect this yet? I've tried searching and can't seem to find any reference to it here. https://msrc-blog.microsoft.com/2022/05/30/guidance-for-cve-2022-30190-microsoft-support-diagnostic-tool-vulnerability/
  2. The silence on this post is only one of the many reasons I will not be renewing my subscription. Kaspersky seem to be incapable of creating an intelligible and reliable system for managing clients in an enterprise.
  3. I find the KSC obscure and confusing. There too many things hidden away in folders and sub-folders and the process of getting things done is not intuitive. For example, I happened to click on the admin server at the top while I was trying to fix something else and saw a message “plugins for KSC13 must be installed” - clicking the link takes you to a page where you can download an MSI which I installed. The message is still there. I can't tell from what's presented what I'm supposed to do about it and when I search for help on your website there are so many options it's impossible to tell which is the right one for my system, most of them offer instructions which don't work or refer to things which aren't on my screen. What am I supposed to do with plugins? I don’t have all day to search through the help pages, most of which are irrelevant as I’ve said since it is quite difficult to find ones which are relevant to my specific setup. The there’s the files sitting in Backups which won’t clear, despite not being present on the machine they’re listed as being from. I’d also like to know why the update process has to be so awkward and clunky. There seems to be now way to get Kaspersky to just keep itself up to date so you have to struggle through the unhelpful and unfriendly system to get updates to install, only to find the machines you update apparently permanently stuck on “Restart required to complete the update.” At the moment I regret using the software. I mean, it seems to stop malware, at least as far as I can tell although most seem to be false positives but I would really like a better management console. This one just makes my life difficult.
  4. I tried again this morning and I’ve managed to get rid of all the French in my admin console and the properties for installation packages and tasks are in English. I don’t know what I did differently but it is often next to impossible to figure out how to get things done in the KSC console, there are far too many options and obscure features.
  5. I have a server. It has Kaspersky Security Centre on it. I downloaded the Kaspersky Endpoint update ready to install on my clients and things started to go wrong. KSC said I needed to update a plugin but then the plugin was in French. I updated KSC and now bits of KSC are in French. I still haven't been able to update the clients with the new version of KES. I also can’t edit tasks because it asks for the plugin which installs in French. If I download the plugin from the page you referenced it installs in the wrong language.
  6. I've been there. It doesn't mention the plugin. I thought upgrading the application might help, now I have part of my console in French and the plugin still doesn't work. At the moment I wish I'd chosen something else, probably with a less confusing admin console. I don't want French, I never asked for French. It just started doing it on its own.
  7. I want to configure an installation package. I need the Application Management Plugin. I can get it from https://www.kaspersky.co.uk/small-to-medium-business-security/downloads/endpoint or via the link from within the console. Whichever way I choose I get a file called klcfginst.msi which installs the plugin in French. Where do I get the English version?
