I have tried those options in 4. filled out everything, agreed to the privacy statement etc. but submit is still greyed out. Trying to contact them otherwise is refused as I do not have an incident reference. I am not interested in other browsers, I can run firefox outside the safe money enviroment, my concern is recovering my bookmarks etc. As things stand they seem to have disappeared. Can someone draw the attention of "support" to these posts, please? Thanks.

I have found the bookmarks backups folder which contains KIS and PURE folders but neither contains a backup later than 24 Dec. 2020. I currently have Plus 21.9.6.465. Is this bookmarks backup stored elsewhere? Currently in Program data/kaspersky lab/safe browser file. When I launch Firefox in safe money I get the "Failed to launch..." etc. notice but I have 3 instances of firefox.exe running before I cancel the notice "Firefox is already running..."etc.

Firefox in Safe money seems to have tried to update to 112.0 but safe money won't run. Tried updating firefox outside of safe money but it won't update. I need to recover the firefox profile in safe money for safekeeping whilst I sort this out. Will there now be 2 separate profiles? Thanks for any pointers. Running win7.

I couldn't originally but after getting into bios and altering settings found it would. So managed to roll back the win10 updates and all came good - thankfully the pin method of logging in worked as password still not accepted. Uninstalled Kaspersky until such time as cause of problem is found. Thanks for the suggestion suggestion but I had found the way in by then. Windows updates eh? I've heard of them...

In case any of you are affected by the issue raised above, look away now... Here is what technical support replied to me: < I understand how important it is for you to get this resolved, let me do my best to sort this out. Let me acquaint you with the situation. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, what I would like to suggest to you regarding this issue would be, you can get assistance from your local IT technician as your laptop issue was related to your Operating System. We may assist you if you can already successfully sign in to your laptop. Thank you and have a nice day! > So Kaspersky bricks a laptop (not for the first time with the klif.sys file), then tells me to fix it myself. No offer to pay for the repair, however.

It's been too hot to do anything in my computer room lately, but now it's cool I un-installed the vpn and the problem seems to have gone away. I'll wait awhile to check that is the case and try re-installing the vpn to see if the problem returns. I'll then mark the problem as solved. On a separate note it seems that the virtual keyboard problem- very laggy,( lots of latency you seem to say these days) is possibly down to my old processor not keeping up?

Kaspersky plus 21.6.7.351 installed itself as an upgrade to security cloud. I suppose it could be malware and it's just a co-incidence. I cannot use kas. support as the submit button is greyed out no matter what I do. This is the text I'm trying to enter: I am using Kaspersky plus with pc running win7. Since the upgrade to plus I find that my pc loses connection to my modem (wired) after a certain time (varies), but seems not to if I disable VPN*. Also I find that the virtual keyboard has a lot of lag/latency which makes it useless - also the mouse pointer needs to be off-centre on the buttons in order to highlight them. * Loses connection regardless of vpn status. Network symbol shows internet access. Grateful for any ideas, Thanks.
