  1. @Schulte, @Berny, and especially @FLOOD , If knew where you all were, you’d find three large pizzas and a two cases x32 of my favourite beer being delivered to your office but that might get you all fired from your high-paying jobs :) So, a Huge Thank You will have to do. Sorry :) Case closed with my gratitude, ~h~
  2. You are are very kind to take the time to do so. Many thanks. They now are: I’ve greyed the ones I now have: Community Privacy Policy (now covered in the blanket “Website Privacy policy”) Community Terms of Use AKA Terms & Conditions Kaspersky Main Privacy Policy (now covered in the blanket “Website Privacy policy” Kaspersky Tain Terms of Use/Terms & Conditions. I know you are very busy with other more important matters and recognize the work you do as going above and beyond. I hope you Mods are paid well and for “Practitioners”, tell your boss I said you could have next week off with pay :) ~h~
  3. No wonder people don’t read them if they are bigger than 30K characters! But, Thank You!!!! 2 down 2 to go. The PDF file gave me some information in the file as to how I can contact someone to get the rest. What a hassle - for what should be public before and after purchase. I should have seen it as the writing on the wall. I have found the cause of not being able to view the files online. It IS the kiddie-kewl ‘we know where you are’ ISP locator forcing me from my account in the U.S. to a fractured Canadian web site with zero policies (none showing anyway). The takeover of our right to privacy has been invaded by extortion of our privacy… I want to see how our rights fare under Kaspersky policies. I’m sure they are better than most others. Now to write to and ask for the other 2 policies. Thanks again Schulte the Moderator ~h~
  4. UPDATE:::::: Just what part of the links don’t work don’t some get? Please stop telling me to click the links that don’t work - instead of taking time to tell me that, use the time to R E A D!! I was just redirected by telephone support who also won't give me access to the TOU/AUP/PP/EULA but were willing to give me links that don’t work. GEEZE what is so hard to get about the links don’t work???? Why Won’t Anyone Simply Copy & Paste the TOU/AUP/PP/EULA Here? This is getting worse and worse every moment. What is the big secret? BTW. Telephone support said they can’t help. Frankly, they need help. Could it be that I refuse to allow Kasper, or it’s 3rd, 4th and tertiary partners to read and copy my browsers History. Should I let the canvas fingerprint snapshot my device MACs? Should I allow the 8 stalkers to peep my Internet travel? Will al that get me to the TOU/AUP/PP/EULA? Don’t we have the right to know what they are? Sheesh!
  5. 1 - What “link above”? - there are many links above your post. If you mean the one hidden behind the cookie banner at the very top, then I have to accept cookies in order view what the ToU, AUP, or PP are? Not! Not the way it seems Kasper prevents access to important PUBLIC docs. The ONLY link I can get off any Kaspersky site, is the link at the bottom of this page that points to “Terms of Use” That’s it - only one reliable link out of all of Kasper main site and Community. It almost makes me feel like it’s Privacy and Terms are not available. Is there a reason no one here will open it up and copy & paste to a reply? Why is it so hard to get to them? Berny Moderator Concerning the EULA please go to https://www.kaspersky.com/end-user-license-agreement 2 - Same thing, Kasper sends me to the Canadian buy-me site with zero terms, privacy, or policy. All I can say is - WOW! What’s so bad about it that it takes nothing short of moving to Russia in order to read it! I give up. If we are not permitted to see those docs, they must be very special. Thanks anyway - it's not your fault Kasper hides them. ~h~
  6. So, Berny and FLOOD just how do I get a copy of the Community ‘Privacy Policy’ and Kaspers main Privacy Policy and Terms of Use using the site AND the product “Kaspersky Total Security”? Thanks for all your efforts and help. It’s good to land on a discussion group with professionals at helm. ~h~
  7. UPDATE:::: By the way. I really do think you should look at the redirect because in the emails that are sent to us after we are “mentioned”, or “reply” or whatever, we are subscribed to in the fou,m also has links that redirect to sales. ~h~
  8. What about fixing this forums’ PP issue? I was able to view the “Terms & Conditions” which is not a TOU, using the link at the bottom of this page, but the Privacy Policy link at the bottom is a fast ride to a sales pitch. Are you able to copy & paste the contents of this forums’ PP and email, PM, paste it here, or staple it to the back of a turtle and kick it in my direction? :) I consider Kaspersky to be a super anti-virus, and I’ve been through many of them since Dos 1.1 but web site building - Kasper should hire pros. Missing, or broken links to ToU, PP, or AUP are too important to be too hard to find. Many thanks Schulte, for your test and confirmation. ~h~ BTW I think it’s odd that Mods keep liking each others stuff all the time. I feel like you’re all ganging up on me. I don’t like some of the answers because they seem to assume I can’t click a mouse.
  9. Thanks Berny, but TOU, PP and many other links take me to that same page. Your “this article” link is https://www.kaspersky.com/web-privacy-policy but when I click on it, it takes me where all the other bad links do. And I know why now. Scene From Merry-Go-Round at Chuckies Circus.I can seen now it’s the Geolocator plugins and coders not realizing the hard-core redirect kicks out .COM sites’ visitors who when clicking important things, are redirected to the country the visitors are in at the visit time. Sorry but, yes, I am the one that reads the Privacy Policies, TOUs, AUPs, all of it, and really do appreciate them being there for me anyway - more appreciative if I can get at them. 1-You may also want to read my OP to see that if there are any TOU, AUP, or PP, because if there, they appear to be covered up by the agree-or-pound-sand nag-banner at the bottom. I think Flood asked what browser I used. Doesn’t matter because the browsers I used has no affect on IP kewl Geo location snoops. The GLS look at IP addresses, not browser. Thanks again Berny - I did copy the video URL out and pasted it into a browser and watched your proof that you are not redirected. Must be nice. CONCLUSION: Rethink and remap the affect google’s geo plugin has on visitors and kill the Geo redirect for AUP, TOU, and PP, or take a few minutes and redirect to the proper country legals. 1 - Yes - I tried resizing my browsers from 450x to 1920x. 2 - Chrome and Fire Fox 3 - Tried with and without stalker-blockers (and rebooting in between) It’s Kaspersky, not me. ~H~
  10. The “more information” at the top of this page opens the main page. BUT, like I showed you, that even though the mouse-over shows the link “more information” is SUPPOSED to go to “””https://www.kaspersky.com/web-privacy-policy””” clicking it REDIRECTS to https://www.kaspersky.ca/ which is just the main sales page I didn’t just find this computer yesterday. I’ve been using them since 1983 I understand links. Since the links work on your computer; what browser are You using? If I use Google’s latest updated Personal Monitoring Device (AKA Chrome), and drop all the tracker/stalker/monitoring blockers, I still get redirected to https://www.kaspersky.ca/. the Privacy Policylink at the bottom of the Kaspersky Community page Same thing, https://www.kaspersky.com/web-privacy-policy redirects to https://www.kaspersky.ca/ the TOU link at the bottom of the Same… the “• Terms of Use” “of the Kaspersky Community page“ is https://community.kaspersky.com/site/terms but, it too refuses to cough up the TOU by REDIRECTING me to the sales page. & the Privacy Policy link provided by the Moderator, all redirect correctly (for me): Lucky you. Even though the link is https://www.kaspersky.com/web-privacy-policy?_ga=2.36454377.891329721.1582182934-1819990518.1581740169 (REALLY! That’s what I get when I copy & paste the link) goes to the main sales page. Maybe I can borrow YOUR system? :) I think I can see what is happening. Take a look at where the redirect takes me. Hint. From .COM to .CA! The *A.I. pretending to be intelligent ‘thinks’ since I am in Canada at the moment, I don’t rate the .COM version of the docs and therefore, since the *A.I. isn't that smart (think G.I.G.O.) if flounders like a fish out of water and hopes the main site will do the trick. If while in Canada I am not permitted to see the Terms of Use, or Privacy Policy as it happened, before, during and even after purchase, makes no matter anyway - right? FYI. On the Main Kasper sales site, where the links keep sending me, the Accept or leave banner at the bottom of the page hides the links to TOU and PP. As I pointed out before, it seems we have to accept the trackers and stalkers and if not, have no access to the Kasper main site TOU or Privacy Policy. So, it begs the question: What country should I go to in order to view the TOU and PP? And, by your comment, what browser, O/S, is required? I used Googles Chrome sans safety and protection. Meanwhile, I asked google what it thinks the TOU is and found it at https://my.kaspersky.com/Home/TermsOfUse BUT Privacy Policy, no matter how I try to get there, is redirected to the Canadian Kasperky Buy Me pages. This indicates that the problem is for those that are outside of the .COM version don’t get to see TOU or PP. The Canadian version of Kasperky site doesn’t have any TOU or PP (see image) If I click on the country drop-down, and select U.S., it takes me from kaspersky.ca to https://usa.kaspersky.com/?sitepref=US (below) but there is a rendition of a Privacy Policy, right before Corruption Policy and no TOU. By going to kaspersky.com, and selecting the dropdown map, and choosing U.S. and the US page loads, clicking on the PP link (just before corruption link, repeats the trip to kaspersky.CA. As for another browser, if I was going to drive to Kaspers office to pay my account, what make, year and model of car should I drive? The problem is in the sites Geolocator A.I. DICTATING my being sent to Canada to read, what isn’t available there either. Bet the code all looked good on paper. Someone should have tested it. Your welcome. ~h~ *A.I. = Artificial Idiots by Gigo.
  11. Un -huh, I’ve seen the main site many times. I already rent Kasper Total. I am NOT looking for more stuff to buy , I am looking for the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. After reading every word in the entirety of the link you provide, still has no “privacy Policy” nor a “Terms of Use”. Those I have managed to find after trudging through dozens of pages, also link to the front sale page. Some pages MAY have the policies, but are buried under the “ACCEPT AND CLOSE” cookie plopper. Shouldn’t we be permitted to read the policies BEFORE we “ACCEPT”? If it helps, the link you provided which I was permitted to extract is “https://www.kaspersky.com/web-privacy-policy”. As soon as I hit that page, the page redirects me to the main page (most all do this) - that being “https://www.kaspersky.ca/” I did manage to find one page that wasn’t covered up with the ACCEPT or leave option, but there was no policy of any kind on that page. ~h~ Thanks for the quick response though.
  12. If you look at the top of this page, you’ll see: (unless it’s fixed now) the following: If you click on “more information” you’ll get the main Kasper site - not more info on about cookies. Some nefarious web sites will do this on purpose so the visitor will click Accept just to get the SMRCer out of their way so they may see the page better. Kasper would never do any such thing, so it must be a mistake, and hopefully we can actually view the cookie policy BEFORE we Accept, without having to view the page with in-your-face bully-type of annoyances. Mr/S Moderator: Please direct us to where we may view a copy of the Cookie Policy, or fix the link so we are not tossed out into link-land wilderness. My ‘’Thanks’’ Kasper for a great anti-virus! No thanks for the SMRCing, broken links, and constant popups to buy more and for assuming my privacy has no value. Come on Kasper, do you really think people believe the part ...”We use cookies to make your experience of our websites better.”? Maybe, if we could actually read the Cookie terms, we might agree, but when the link to “more information” about Kaspers’ use of Cookies is just another sales pitch, you lose credibility. Please Sir, may I view your cookie policy? ~h~
  13. Using that I get: Goes hand in hand with being able to sign in here using a Facebook account - Duh! From the man in the long black coat standing the shadows of the alleyway - - - Pssst - wanna sign in little boy/girl, use Facebook.
  14. Most “review” sites sell the products they review. The company that pays the most in commissions to the affiliated ‘reviewing’ the product, the further up the ladder the product goes. Sort of like Google popularity contests for web page rankings. The best places to look are ‘lab’ test results, like AVtest. They are not earning commissions. That has my vote! I too am tired of constant buy me, buy me in-my-face popups and usually at the most inopportune times. But, I read the terms and privacy policies and it boils down to, we gave up our devices to Microsoft, Google and Kasper, but the policies don’t say anything about tweaking their SMRC-‘wares. I checked the privacy and terms of many top-ranked anti-virus kahunas and they all do the same. People are the latest online money-making commodity. I like your post, ~h~
