Virus and Ransomware related questions

I get almost continuous alerts from Kaspersky Security Cloud warning me about previously opened malicious links detected and download denied, all related to Trovi.com. Yet no matter what I do I can find no suspicious software installed and a full Kaspersky scan keeps coming back with zero issues. It seems to only happen with Chrome, at least the few times I’ve tried Edge nothing seemed to pop up.

How can I remove viruses on all browsers ?

I have install fresh WordPress from cPanel and using free and original plugins only. But for the Kaspersky users when someone trying to load the it giving a warning. This is the warning. After that I have downloaded all the files from cPanel and run a scan with Kaspersky. it’s clean. also I have run virus scan from cPanel. it’s also clean. what’s the issue and how can I fix it? We have found the following trojan on one of our devices: HEUR:Trojan.Multi.Blacert.a Unfortunately the analyst deleted the file before we got a chance to investigate if it was a false positive or not. I cannot find any details on this trojan other than some references to Kaspersky finding it. Can anyone tell me anything about this malware? What are it’s exploit method or any protocols it tries to leverage? Thanks in advance.

I am trying to clean a computer using the Kaspersky Rescue Tool from a bootable disk. Kaspersky identifies a virus as HEUR.Trojan.Win32.Adject.Gen and tries to quarantine it but it will not delete the file. The file is a .sys file in the Windows\System32\drivers folder and it keeps changing names. It cannot be deleted by Kaspersky or in Windows regular or safe mode. It says access is denied and that I need the computer administrator’s permission to delete the file. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Chrome keeps diverting to Bing on launch. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, ran scans agains google and goggle chrome they come back clean. Any thoughts on what is causing this and how to address. Thanks!

Hi, the flash drive was working perfectly until today. I think there's something wrong with my school computers. It seems to work fine when I put it on my computer. it crashes and stops working when i try to get into folders or try to scan with kaspersky. It has ntfs protection. Any idea how can i fix this issue? Note: Microsoft Defender found Worm:Win32/AutoRun!atmn in my flash. But It can’t finish the scan neither. Because after short time i get same messages“ USB drive didn’t recognized”

When undertaking a simple search in the MS Edge Browser such as “Toshiba TV 32SL700A manual” I get the following message: “Prevented visiting a website that can initiate downloading unwanted programsThe website can download applications on your device without your knowledge or consent. You were protected from visiting this website by Kaspersky security. You can close this window with no risk.” The address line shows trovi,com… … ... I then don’t get any results from my search. How do I get to ignore unwanted results but accept legitimate results.

This malware can be used for block anti-virus software, but Kaspersky mistakenly identified it as trusted software. Hi, I've been reading something about a GPU malware that hides in the GPU's Vram, and the UEFI malware called ESPecter. So this is just a question if Kaspersky can detect those kinda malwares?

When I compile C++ code (Visual Studio 2022), Kaspersky Secury Cloud - Free detects the .exe file as malware and removes it before I get the chance to run it. Why is that?

Hi, Turned on my gaming pc about 1 hour ago and boots up normally. Software loads and they check for updates. LG G Hub updates itself and then Kasperky goes a little nuts. Is this just a case of Kaspersky being over zealous. It there anything else I can do to check apart from running full scans in both Kaspersky and Windows Security? Many thanks

Last night i did a quick scan after some strange things were happening on my pc, turns out i have trojan.multi.brosubsc.gen and one other trojan. after the scan i disinfected my computer and it says in my log that the other trojan that was detected was disinfected but the multi.brosubsc.gen was only detected. Ive ran 4 quick scans and a full scan and although logs tell me that it was only detected and wasnt disinfected, the 5 scans i did cant find it again.

Hello, your list has “https://www.manteaux.com/“ listed as Phishing. This was certainly caused by a problem with the sites Abandoned Carts extension. It was sending out emails that weren’t formatted correctly multiple times to users. There is no phishing going on, the extension issues have been resolved. Can this be taken off the list please?

Hi guys, I used my computer for a long time and always was good, until suddenly the KVRT(kasperky virus removal tool) detected the malware MEM:Trojan.win32.SEPEH.gen in my pc (in the system memory), the KVRT restart my computer and in the next scan I do it, nothing was detected, but i do it anoother scan and the malware was detected again, I format my computer, installed the KVRT again and the malware still was here.
