I have been using kasperky internet security since 2009 on different operating systems. But to my surprise recently i have been observing Kaspersky is freezing my mac and draining out battery and also could not block adds on different websites. I reported the issue to kaspersky support long back and they collected data from my mac.. asked me to reinstall the application. Even after reinstallation the problem persist then i asked them again to look in to the issue. Again they collected data from my mac book pro running on Mojave Os and declared there is a bug and it should be fixed. Almost since 4 months i am waiting for a solution and no solution yet. this is the complai…

Firefox has disabled the Protection plugin for Firefox (6.0.3 64bit)..."one or more installed add-ons can not be verified and have been disabled - Kaspersky Protection could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled". Is this a known issue? Any fixes as I relied on the protection plugin in the past.

i am from Bangladesh. I have 1 licence for 2 device. And two devices are loged in with same Kaspersky account and same licence key. If my one device will infected by virus or malware or ransomeware, Can the other device will infected by the viruses? I am thinking that viruses can synchronise by my Kaspersky Account or licence key and effect all my same account connected device. Does it possible? Please let me know.

I installed Kaspersky Internet Security yesterday. Now when I double-click on the desktop icon for Adobe Acrobat Reader, it will not open. A Windows 10 window opens that says, "Windows cannot find, C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRD32.exe. Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again." I have been told by one Microsoft Support response to de-install Kaspersky and go back to Microsupport Windows Defender but I don't want to make such a drastic move this early in the game before I could find a solution to my issue. Best, DonB

Would be great to add support for Comodo Dragon browser (same source code like google chrome - chromium) but without support from kaspersky. Dragon browser is more secure browser but not supported by kaspersky :( Kaspersky don't think seriously with protection.

KIS 17.0.0.611(n) has been working great with my current build of windows (1803) but there's no official statement whether the 'n' patch adds compatibility with Win 1903's security center. I know I should install the latest KIS anyway but I'd rather wait for it to receive more patches first.

Today I've got for a second time a strange behaviour of KIS - suddenly the System (Win7 Ultimate SP1) informed via Service Center, that all functions (as firewall, virus and spyware detection) of KIS are "temporarily switched off". I didn't do anything related to KIS at that moment, there were only some I/O via network (multiple downloads running) and an active WinDiff scan of two hard disk partitions. A short check with SysInternals Process Explorer showed, that there was really no KIS-GUI running at all. At least some KIS services (detected by their company name entry) were loaded, but it wasn't clear if they were working. A try to start KIS again from the Start men…

OS: Windows 10 Home, 64-bit Browsers: Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Discord, Steam I've been using Kaspersky for a few years now. Since around roughly 1 (2018) year ago, I began experiencing a complete cutoff from the internet. At first, I didn't realize it was Kaspersky that was doing it, but thought there was a problem with my computer itself. When this happens, I cannot open or load any new web pages, or refresh currently open web pages. When I try, absolutely nothing happens. I don't even get an error saying that that Firefox (or other browser) cannot find that site. LITERALLY NOTHING happens. I click the refresh button, or press ENTER after ty…

Today, I ran a screen lock virus. I tested it on KFA2019. The screen lock shortcut will immediately find the screen lock virus, and it will terminate and restore the system. But today I tested KIS2020 and found that it can't find it. Screen lock virus, always prompted that the screen lock is not found, I hope the engineer can verify it, thank you! sincere regards

I have had my bank attached to the safe money browser for a long time but suddenly I am getting a message that my Self Defence is disabled. When I go through all the setting my self defence is on and the link to the bank account it there enabled . I did read to go in and change the self defence to enable - it was already so unticked the box and got a confirmation request . When I ticked the enable box again to enable I didn't get a confirmation request. It all says it is on but still won't work when I go in to my bank. I thought a new update might clear it so have updated again but still the problem exists. Reading solutions you have given woomera I am afraid that …

I have purchased a license for Internet Security 2019, but the installers for MacOS require at least MacOS 10.12 as basic system. My Mac Server runs MacOS 10.11.6 and is not capable for higher Versions of MacOS. Since I will continue using my old server online I also need Internet Security for it. How can I get Kaspersky Internet Security Services for MacOS 10.11.6, is this doable for you?

I have done full scans the past few days and the first scan took a while. It reported it scanned 2 million files. I did another scan back to back and kaspersky reported scanning 1.5 million. The next day I scan and it reports only 1 million files. My question is why is this happening? I'm not deleting files on my system. The scanned files seems to get lower each scan.

Since yesterday, Kaspersky is blocking the request my webmail does to refresh the mailbox. It says there could be a data loss, even though it's under https and the certificate is ok. The interface is Roundcube. The blocked url is like this: https://wmail4.sion.com/?_task=mail&_action=list&_refresh=1&_mbox=INBOX&_remote=1&_unlock=loading1556301415877&_=1556298403553 And the response status is "499 Request has been forbidden by antivirus". Under the advanced Web AV configuration, I've added "https://wmail4.sion.com/*", but the problem persists. If I uncheck the heuristic analysis, then the page works again. Can I disable heuristic analysis just for this url? Or c…

Hi, everyone. I have an ASUS ROG (Republic of Gamers) model G51J running Windows 10 (Version 1809, SO 17763.437) that was presenting sudden shutdowns (it wasn't overheating, it was simply shutting down sometimes, with no blue screens, nothing). I took it for maintenance and they diagnosed a BGA (Ball Grid Array) issue, fixing the problem. Despite the age (it has 9 years now), the laptop is very fast and very good (starts in less than 15 seconds). After the maintenance, I never had the shutdown issue again, but now it is freezing sometimes (the screen and mouse completely freezes on the current screen, capslock/numlock lights also freeze in the current state, all lap…

Whenever I have a suspicious file and Kaspersky detectes a virus in it, if I manually delete the file, Kaspersky insists that I have a problem and that it should delete the file. If I choose "delete", it tries for a while and then asks for a reboot to delete it. I think Kaspersky should be smart enough to realize that the reason the file cannot be deleted is that it is gone already, and not that it's locked or something else. Once this happens, the Kaspersky icon remains red until I reboot, which I find quite bothering. Edit: I just realized I created this as a "question", instead of discussion or idea. Can that be changed when editing the post?

While looking for word meanings in this official Spanish site (ps://dle.rae.es), Kaspersky reported a trojan in this file: ps:// dle.rae.es/ js/init. js Not loading this apparently breaks the whole site styling. Kaspersky reports this as "HEUR:Trojan.Script.Miner.gen". However, if I download this file and scan it, nothing is found. I then uploaded it to Virus Total and only 2 out of 57 engines detected a virus. Kaspersky did not either. I just tried increasing the heuristic level to the maximum, and only then Kaspersky detected again this supposed trojan in this downloaded file. Is this a false positive?
