Hello @Geebee1701, Welcome.

Kaspersky starts some processes delayed so as not to interfere with the loading of Windows. The protection is still active.

Only when the GUI of KSC is loaded, Windows can be informed that an AV program is active.
If you see the green KL icon after some time, everything is fine and you can ignore the Windows message.

Thanks. I can see the active symbol for the anti virus protection so I am comfortable that I am protected. The action centre message is popping up a few minutes after the icon is showing up so not sure why the action centre is not picking up the fact that my anti virus is running. When I go into the windows security screen all is fine and I can see everything is running as it should. I am on the latest Windows 10 update version. Just annoying that I keep getting this message every time I boot up Windows.

the message comes very late. Maybe the communication KSC->Windows is malfunctioning.
Please un- and reinstall KSC

I will try and report back - Previously using Avast and I was not getting these warning messages.
