Why Chorme extension create unnecessary timeouts/delays for specific requests

I am using Google Chrome browser extension Kaspersky Security 21.1.0.1.

 

Also I am using JIRA cloud   (https,//www.atlassian,com/cloud) in my machine for my office work. In that following hear beat requests are getting delayed a lot. Because of that all the UI crashes. As soon as the extension is off this work fine. Any specific reason for this?

Hi,

I am pretty new user for this forum. I didn’t see the above mentioned topic. Thanks for pointing it out.

 

My operating system is macOS Big Sur V11.5.2

My Google Chrome version is Version 92.0.4515.159 (Official Build) (arm64)

 

I purchased this new laptop last week. And I installed the Kaspersky freshly. I am not sure why the latest version of the software/extension is not installed. I will try to update it.

Don’t try to update to  v21.3, that’s for Windows!

➡ KIS/MAC is up to version 21.1.0.150 (patch c).

• Have you tried adjusting the Privacy tab options:

1. Website tracking?
2. Web analytics?
3. Ad agencies?
4. Web behavior trackers? 

• & or added an exclusion for JIRA cloud & any other impacted www? 
• ➡ IF, none of those help, log a case with Kaspersky Technical Support, fill in Connectivity issues, Specific website does not work as expected template. Support may request Logs & other data, including Wireshark traffic analysis, they will guide you:
