Where do downloaded files in Safe Money mode go to? I need to find the documents I downloaded.

[SOLVED] I couldn't find a way to delete the topic, so editing. The files eventually appeared in the regular "Downloads" folder. Not sure if it had to do with me closing the Safe session or what, but they appeared there.

Recently installed Kaspersky Standard, first time Safe Money user, this option popped-up today and I thought "why not?"

Very well, I did what I had to do and downloaded a couple of PDF documents, but then I exited the session and when I looked at my regular "Downloads" folder the documents weren't there. They weren't in the download history of the browser (outside of the Safe mode) either.

Where did my downloaded files go? How can I get them without having to download them all over again?

Welcome to Kaspersky Community.

 

Since Safe Money session it's a sandbox for the browser, any downloaded file in that session is not reflected, of course, in the standard local system.

 

The data stored in that session should be in: C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\SafeBrowser
