When I try to launch the installation wizard, it loads and stops. Antivirus not installing in my windows 10

I downloaded Kaspersky antivirus on my widows 10 PC and ever since then I have been unable to install it on the the PC. when I try to launch the installation wizard, it loads and stops. Has happened several times and getting me frustrated. I need help from the Gurus here. Thanks

Hello ask4remy, Welcome! Please tell us:

1. Operating system version? build? release?
2. KAV, free or licensed? (see note at the end of my reply), version?
3. Has there been any Kaspersky software installed previously?
4. Have you checked KAV hardware and software compatibility requirements, if not let us know 1. & 2. so we can check for you?
5. Have you done a full shutdown of the computer?
6. Have you checked System event logs, for any (Kaspersky) errors?
