What does Kaspersky VPN do?

Hi, I purchased and installed Kaspersky Antivirus, and I see that it also installed Kaspersky VPN. I can’t find much information about it, other than it is another service I can subscribe to. Does this VPN do anything for me with my current subscription? Is it used by Kaspersky Antivirus in any meaningful way?

Here you can find some information, more info about a VPN you can surely find through your favorite search engine.

Kapersky offers you a trial version with limited data (200/300 MB/day).
You can test the offer, but you can also uninstall it without any consequences for the protection.
Anti-Virus works independently of the VPN.
