Hi,

We've received the same email.

Why we need to reregister? Why the consent with microsoft has been revoked? What is the reason?

Thanks you

I already tried to regrant access to Office 365 about 20 times but it doesn't work. After accepting the requested authorisation the website jumps to "eu.ks365.cloud.kaspersky.com//api/v1/account/oauthOffice365" with a white screen and after a minute comes back to the first page of my Kaspersky site.

Who can help me?

I tried it with Chrome instead of Edge and now it worked.

No more help needed.

I also received the message, I entered the authorization again but the email filtering did not work, I had to delete the work site and create it again, it worked fine again for 2 weeks and again it is not filtering emails, I cannot download the emails placed in either quarantine by microsoft.

Hello @Alejandro Navarrete

The issue you're describing could be related to a few common causes when it comes to email filtering and quarantining in Microsoft services. Let's break it down and explore some potential reasons and solutions:

1. Consent and API Reauthorization

Since you mentioned that consent was revoked by Microsoft, and you had to reauthorize access, it’s possible that:

  • The reauthorization might not have applied to all aspects of the system.
  • The permissions granted might not be sufficient for the email filtering or quarantining processes.

Solution: Double-check the scope of permissions granted during the reauthorization to ensure that they cover email filtering, quarantine access, and other necessary functions. If you're using a third-party service or security plugin that interacts with Microsoft 365 or Exchange Online, ensure it's correctly configured and authorized.

2. Email Filtering and Quarantine Configuration

There could be a misconfiguration in how the email filtering rules are set up, or the quarantine settings might not be correctly applied after the changes you made (deleting and recreating the work site).

Solution:

  • Review the email filtering rules (e.g., Safe Links, Anti-Spam, Anti-Phishing) to ensure they are active and correctly applied.
  • Check the quarantine policies to confirm that they are set up correctly, and verify that you're using the appropriate administrative access to download quarantined emails.
  • Verify your filtering connectors and transport rules to make sure they haven't been affected by the deletion and recreation of the work site.

3. Quarantine Access Issues

If you are unable to download emails that are quarantined, it might be a permissions or user access issue. For example, the reauthorization process may not have restored your ability to access quarantined emails properly, or the permissions may not have fully propagated.

Solution:

  • Try accessing the quarantine directly via the Security & Compliance Center in Microsoft 365. Ensure that the correct admin roles (like Security Administrator or Compliance Administrator) are assigned to your account.
  • If possible, test the quarantine access from another admin account to see if the issue is user-specific or system-wide.

4. Ongoing Sync or Configuration Issues

The email filtering might be failing intermittently due to sync issues between your system and Microsoft services. If this issue happens every two weeks, it might suggest a periodic re-sync or policy refresh problem.

Solution:

  • Check if there are scheduled syncs, refreshes, or policy updates in your configuration that might cause a temporary loss of functionality.
  • Run a diagnostic check using Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant to see if any issues are detected with your email filtering or quarantining setup.
  • Review Microsoft 365 Service Health Dashboard to check for any ongoing service outages or issues.

5. Check for Known Issues or Updates

Sometimes Microsoft introduces updates that could impact certain services like email filtering or quarantining. Additionally, there might be known bugs that require a patch or workaround.

Solution:

  • Check Microsoft’s official documentation or the Admin Message Center in the Microsoft 365 admin portal to see if any announcements or updates have been released that could be impacting email filtering and quarantine.

By following these steps, you should be able to identify where the problem lies and resolve the email filtering and quarantine issues. If the issue persists, escalating to Microsoft support might be necessary for more advanced troubleshooting or reviewing logs related to filtering failures.

Thank you
