Hi, there. Running into the exact same problem as 19Sixtythree; the VPN works fine on my tablets and iPhone but it can't seem to detect that I'm connected to the internet on the PC.

I've tried the following:

- Reboot router
- Restart PC
- Seeing if Kaspersky VPN is allowed on my windows firewall (it is).

But it just kept showing "VPN connection is temporarily unavailable".

My last resort was to uninstall and re-install Kaspersky VPN, but the install wizard is stuck on this screen:

Although I clearly am already connected to the internet.

Please advise.

I have the exact same problem after re-installation - "Please make sure you're connected to the internet..."
It is simply hanging there, even when I disable the firewall (so it must be something other than firewall)

When running command ‘ipconfig /all’ do you get ‘media disconnected‘ error ?

A temporary fix is the command “ netsh winsock reset “ (without quotes).

Unfortunately, it didn't work. I still have the same problem.

Can you try  “ netsh winsock reset   + reboot and then check with ipconfig ?

I already tried that, no success. However, I did find something in the event log:

Name resolution for the name ff.kis.v2.scr.kaspersky-labs.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.

Could this mean something?

Ok, this issue has been resolved with the assistance of Kaspersky Tech Support. They recommended installing the latest Kaspersky application - "Kaspersky Standard" (not VPN) with version 21.21. After that, the installation of Kaspersky VPN succeeded without any issues.
