VPN is not working in Russia after signing a new agreement on 2-3 March 2026

As a foreigner living in Moscow, Russia, Kaspersky VPN has been my savior since it offers servers from many countries and is cheap, as many websites are blocked there. However, I felt dismayed today when Kaspersky VPN did not work well, even in the faster server. Although I could connect to some countries, the websites did not load. What are the reasons behind it? Please fix this issue so that I can use my VPN normally. I wrote the complaint in the English forum since I am not fluent enough in Russian.

Kaspersky is currently migrating its VPN service to a new product infrastructure. For foreigners living in Russia the situation may vary depending on the place where you've purchased the license. If you've purchased a license abroad, due to the transition to a new infrastructure you are no longer able to use it in the Russian Federation. Please contact our support team for a solution. If you have purchased it in Russia, due to migration certain limitations may start to apply, and we have detailed FAQs about changes due to migration in Russia. I am a foreigner as well who lives in Russia, Moscow. I have been using Kaspersky for one year and a half. My subscription is still valid for 191 days. Today after signing a new agreement on 2-3 March 2026. I was left without access to the platforms I use to talk to my relatives and learn from. I am heartbroken, please help us out!

Since yesterday, my vpn is not working after policy update. Vpn gets connected but doesn’t open anything. Without vpn , its so hard to use WhatsApp and to call family abroad. Emailed Kaspersky many times , even called them today but nothing so far. Please fix this problem. Its so hard to survive without vpn these days.

I am in my final year and I need a VPN. This is very harsh to me considering the VPN cannot be accessed. Can we get a refund for this?

Please tell us if vpn will work in russia or not? I bought this vpn in abroad not in Russia 4 years ago and renewing it every year. Since Tuesday, it has stopped working after policy update. So this vpn will ever work or not. Refund money then.

Russian version of kaspersky vpn is completely useless because WhatsApp, instagram, YouTube, dont work with that vpn. So whats the point of buying that vpn if nothing gets unblocked. 
 

I renewed this vpn in august last year and now its too late to ask apple for refund. So better kaspersky refunds money directly .

since everything is blocked in russia , without vpn , its not possible to survive and talk to family. Your russian version of vpn is useless because it unblocks nothing.
