Hi there,

The updating line doesn't have the correct percentage symbol as you can see in the attached screenshot.

Hello @SJaafar,

Welcome!

  • Please provide:
  1. Windows OS version & build -> in Windows Search, type WINVER - open the WINVER app, post back what is shown in the WINVER app please?
  2. Which Kaspersky software is installed: *name* & version*? IF it's *not* v21.20, update to that version: https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads#update-product

& recheck the formatting of the updating percentage symbol?

Thank you?

Hello @SJaafar,

Thank you for posting back!

*When posting images on a public forum, please hide private information, like email address, proper name etc., we've requested the Moderators adjust your images*

  1. Please post the Windows OS version & build in English
  2. (you) *already* have v21.20
  3. (you) could try *uninstalling* Kaspersky Standard, at the end of the *uninstall*, shutdown the computer using SHUTDOWN, not Restart, power ON the computer by pressing the power button, login.
  4.  Download a *new* Kaspersky Standard: https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads/standard
  5. Install Kaspersky Standard.
  6. Run a Database update - allow it to complete.
  7. At the end of the *install*, shutdown the computer using SHUTDOWN, not Restart, power ON the computer by pressing the power button, login.
  8. Recheck the *original* issue - does the 'incorrect formatting of the updating percentage symbol' persist? IF ''yes', log a request with Kaspersky Customer Service, https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts  - select either Email or Chat, then fill in the template as shown; include a *detailed history*. Support may request logs, traces & other data; they will guide you.
  • *Also* -> IF using Chat -> *before* ending the chat -> ask the operator to email (you) a copy of the chat transcript - otherwise (you'll) have no record of the chat*        image.thumb.png.d2d5f4773d063f53ba9c3c84519eb7d0.png

Please share the outcome with the Community, when it's available?

Thank you?

Could you please read the information in this article? Such recommendations will cause problems for almost all users. You can't replace reboot with shutdown, because shutdown doesn't restart the system kernel. This means that the product will not be completely removed. This article may also be useful.

Please excuse me for interfering.

It doesn't seem to me to be a problem with the Kaspersky software, but rather with the character set used on the system.
The Windows version displayed also looks a bit strange:

Possibly there is no '%' character.

This seems to be the cause of the issue.

@SJaafar

This is a ‘ cosmetic bug ‘

Version 21.20 is fresh new without a patch. So these versions without patch might contains bugs. But this is cosmetic bug only.
