Update KES

hey guys

to upgrade KES from 11.* to 12.0.0.465 do I need to uninstall KES and reinstall the new version?

I tried some tasks to update, but it doesn't update the version, only database and ksn

I'm doing it like this, the task uninstalls KES from the host and another task installs the new version, is that correct?

Hello betoO,

it depends on the Version you would like to upgrade.

So as Example you would like to upgrade KES 11.0 to 12 there are 12 Versions between this and it is better to uninstall - re install.

In the Case you have installed KES 11.8-9-10 you can do also an upgrade Installation with the Actual Version 12.1 and do only a Install Task what will trigger the Upgrade Installation.
