Update 11.10 to 11.11 error

Hi all,

When updating application 11.10.0.399 to 11.11.0.452, I got the following error on few computers:

Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows (11.11.0) (English) (Lite encryption) (11.11.0.452): Remote installation has been completed with an error on this device: Fatal error during installation. (The application is upgrading. Please try again later.)

Tried reinstall few times, trying reboot computer...no success.

Any idea will be really apreciated.

Hello DaniAvi,

if you are using KES Light Encryption (AES56) you have to use the same encryption type for the upgrade.

Also make sure to use the same language than you are upgrading from.

The only way I found to solve the problem was to use "kavremvr" to remove old version then was about to reinstall 11.11 after a reboot.
