uninstall password set over web console will not work KSC 11 / KES 11 [MOVED]

WebConsole: 11.0.96 KSC: 11.0.0.1131 KES: 11.1.0.15919 When setting the uninstall password for the network agent using the web console, the password won't be accepted when trying to remove the network agent on the client computer. After resetting it with the mmc console, I can uninstall the network agent using this password. Is there a known bug regarding this? regards Dirk //Mod Note: moved to proper section.

Hi, Could you please confirm that "Enforce" is enabled for password section of the policy?

I will check this again. I would expect it to be enabled, because it is the same policy. I created the policy with the web console and then reconfigured the same policy using the mmc console.

Hi Nikolay, yes I can confirm, that enforce is enabled. (screen 1) Error while trying to uninstall the agent: wrong password error I re-entered the same password in the MMC Console. Then password was accepted. I also noticed that the password sat in the MMC console is not showing up in the webconsole. The value is different. regards Dirk
