Understanding the difference in some of Kaspersky Products

Hi, I'm suggesting centralised management of kaspersky for a business client which already has Kaspersky endpoint protection installed on the devices.
I noticed there was Network Manager on one of the user computers. Is this a sign that there may already be a Central Management Console installed on the On premise server?(I don't have access to their server in order to check)
so in short I want to know the differences between endpoint security and security center which i believe has the central management console. this will affect whether i deem endpoint security adequate for protecting their devices or we need an IT guy to come in and set policies from the console.

Hello supportIntegrated,

Endpoint Security(KES) and Kaspersky Security Center On-Prem(KSC) are two different products.
However, KSC is the management console which is intended to manage a bunch of Kaspersky Products like KES, Security for Windows Server, Security for Virtualization and Linux and MAC as also Mobile devices.

So it looks the KES of your customer is managed by Kaspersky Security Center and maybe there is also a Security Policy applied.

Check if there is Kaspersky Network Agent installed in addition to KES. It indicates that KES is managed by KSC.
In the local KES Interface you can see if the client is managed in the left bottom corner.

You will find more about our Products here:

I hope I have been able to help you and remain

with Best Regards
