Unable to rename a device that belongs to a different account.

Good Morning,

I've shared my Kapersky Standard available up to 5 devices. I've sent the invitation to the person. She installed Kapersky Standard and all went well. Now when I see the device on the application, I've tried to rename it to assure that we know who is who. At this time a received the following message: Unable to rename a device that belongs to a different account.

Could you please help me to find where the error is so I can try to resolve it. The new person doesn't have a Kapersky account.

Welcome!

For *shared* accounts, a My Kaspersky account is required for *all* users. 

When the invitation to share the subscription is sent to the recipients email address - if a user does not have an account on My Kaspersky, it will be created automatically when the user accepts the invitation to share protection.

IF the recipient has not had a MyKaspersky account automatically created - something in the process has not worked. 

Also, their *installed* Kaspersky Standard software - should show their email address on the Kaspersky Standard application GUI, directly above Subscription is active. 

(You) & the user need to work out IF they do have a MyKaspersky account with the email address (you) sent the subscription to, sign into it, check the device name in their account & match that device name to the device name in (your) account.
