Unable to launch steam or epic games or valorant while the app is active

i am unable to launch any game apps while the program is active.
After disabling it, i can launch it again.
i have tried messing with the firewall but that doesn't seem to be the issue.
How can i launch games while the program remains active

1. So we don't have to guess, please:  Read before you create a new topic! & provide the information? 
2. When the games fail to launch, are there any errors, what are the errors, look in KTS Reports, post screen prints, we need to see what you see please? 
3. A. Does this solution from @Igor Kurzinwork: 
   Spoiler

   1. Make sure Windows Hidden files, is checked/ticked, refer: View hidden files and folders in Windows
   2. *Important* -> uncheck Enable Self-Defense -> open Kaspersky app, select Settings⚙, select General, clear the Enable Self-Defense checkbox -> select Save, select Yes - to confirm the action.
   3. Exit Kaspersky app - on the Windows taskbar or hidden icons, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select Exit.
   4. Go to folder C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP21.3\Report\ and delete the contents = all files and folders.
   5. Shutdown the computer, using Shutdown, not Restart, power on, login.
   6. Make sure Kaspersky app is started.
   7. Enable Self-Defense.
   8. Re-check the issue?

thank you for the quick response but sorry i think i might have incorrectly descibed about the issue
i can launch steam or epic games but it doesn't have an internet connection.
it says it cant reach the servers but after disabling it it can.
the website of steam do work fine just the app doesn't so it doesn't let me launch games either

Hello,

I have the same symptoms with Age of Empires IV. It seems connecting to the XBOX servers is blocked. There is no any notice, no log record or anything. It works only If I stop the defence just for the start procedure. During the game the Kaspersky does not block running (sometimes some error messages)

Windows 10 Home (22H2)

Kaspersky version is the same (21.3.10.391 (j))

Welcome!

1. Which Kaspersky software & which version is installed, on the Windows taskbar, *hidden icons*, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select About - post back the information? 
2. Which Windows OS version & build, in Windows Search, type winver, post back the information shown in the winver app?
3. Does the Valorant error have an error code, please post a full-screen-screenprint of "this app doesn't give permission to open valorant", we need to see what you see? *Hide any personal information before posting*
4. In Kaspersky, Manage applications, is Valorant, Riot & or Riot-Games showing a Trusted status? 
5. In Kaspersky Reports, are there any Valorant OR Riot-game errors or alerts or any errors that refer to: "this app doesn't give permission to open valorant"? Post back a full-screen-screenprint of the error, including the details?
6. Have (you) tried uninstalling Valorant, shutting down the computer, using Shutdown, not Restart, power on, login, download a new Valorant installer, install Valorant & recheck, what happens?
