there is something very wrong with the firewall

i noticed it recently. maybe after a microsoft update(and i say maybe because you also did a major update).

i had made a folder in untrusted with full privilages and everithing else even in trusted didnt had any access to the network.

and i puted what i wanted  to that folder to have very basic internet and everything else to block.

now everthing is unblocked without me changing anything.... even winrar ffs . network rules dont work anymore....

check the firewall ffs....

That is crazy as hell, in 1st capture You have in Untrusted some legit services/apps like Mozilla FireFox, torrent, Host Processor for Windows, even of Kaspersky? Er what??? 🤦‍♂️😵‍💫 all of them should be located in Trusted with network allowed!

@a random guy Movement between groups changes many rules not only for internet access, but also for all intrusion prevention system (HIPS) -  operations with files and system registry, different rights of access. You can deny internet access for the whole Trusted group and then allow individual applications within that group. You also need to allow access to the MS and KL groups.

ok dont shoot pls.

i wanted to create an automation when whatever new file on system wanted access to the network would get NO access so i made a folder named full network and puted there whatever litle i wanted to have access there.

the rules was not inherited .it was deny(everywhere alse) or allow (full network ).

please dont dont start with hidden network etc. the problem is that it was working and now it isnt.

everything has access.... its ignoring the network rules.and its isnt in like some microsoft exe or dll or whatever. its also in a simple program like winrar.

so whats wrong and what do you propose to make the firewall act like i want it. a folder given all access and everything else blocked

the problem is that everything has access... not the other way around.thats why i posted here.its ignoring the network rules.

now lets say the things with there name. if you have a firewall its purpose is to block internet not block files from registry.thats a great thing to have but its not the firewall purpose....

can you give me a solution to have the thing i asked above? if not then i think its time for me to change my security program.

Also, try to do a Kaspersky config reset of the settings, and re-create the rules again.

i did it and then closed the network again but didnt work.can you try to recreate the no network in an exe to check if the problem is on my side or in general?
