Hello Kaspersky Support Team,

 

I am experiencing a problem downloading the installer for Kaspersky Antivirus from my account on My Kaspersky.

 

Whenever I try to download the installer from the email link or by typing the website manually (kaspersky.com), the page is automatically redirected to the website of Bitdefender instead.

 

I have already tried many troubleshooting steps, but the problem still persists. Here is what I have done:

 

• Tried downloading from multiple browsers (Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox)

• Installed a fresh browser with no extensions

• Disabled all browser extensions

• Cleared browser cache and reset browser settings

• Flushed DNS and changed DNS servers

• Checked the hosts file

• Tried different internet connections including mobile data

• Tried using another device

 

Despite all of these steps, whenever I attempt to access kaspersky.com or the download link from my account, the page still redirects to Bitdefender.

 

Because of this issue, I cannot download the installer directly on my computer.

 

Therefore, I would like to ask if it is possible for me to download the installation file using my mobile phone and then transfer the installer file to my computer to run it there.

 

Could you please confirm if this method is acceptable, or alternatively provide me with a direct installer file for Windows that I can download safely?

Please provide version of operating system, and version of K. product if finally installed.

 

Can You provide any capture of the redirecting? Did You have a BD product installed in that system previously?

you can try to switch your DNS to 8.8.8.8 and other public dns like open dns.

reboot OS and try again.
