Tasks Cannot be Performed

Recommended Posts

Good day, We have installed Kaspersky as a test for 5 devices. 4 computers and one mobile device. Currently all the computers are on the default profile except for the Admin laptop which is using a customized security profile. The issue is that I receive event reports of tasks not being done. Event Reports that I've received:
  1. KSN Servers Unavailable
  2. Task Cannot be performed. Reason: Cannot start two tasks at the same time
  3. Protection components are disabled. Component: Protection
  4. Task Stopped : Component File threat Protection
I have tried to review all settings and change the default policy tasks to enable tasks not to run at the same time and even changed the tasks times to occur when there is activity on end users workstations. But I still get these reports, the admin console also shows that an Anti Virus scan has not been while other computers have done them. Please help to understand where I'm getting it wrong so that we can run a scheduled Anti Virus scan and Database update

Hi,
  1. Do you use KSC as KSN proxy or local hosts connect directly to ksn servers?
  2. Please disable "Allow use of local tasks" at KES policy - local tasks - Task management and local tasks will not run anymore
3&4 There are several reasons for that events. for further investigation we will need GSI report from affected host.

Hi Nikolay,
  1. We do not use KSC as KSN proxy, all end users are connected directly to the ksn server.
  2. I have allowed use of local tasks.
Is there Best Practice manual that I could use for an optimal setup for a corporate organisation that has employees around the world, as we choose KSC for the ability to control devices from a central location and implement security policies to remote devices.
