HI!

I have a question about KESL.

I am using Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux 11

However, RAM is abnormally occupying it.

So I changed the parameter value of the kesl.ini // Through this site

But it didn't work.

I wonder how to reduce memory.

Please let me know if I have set anything wrong.

I have the same problem of you.

kesl process consume a lot of memory.

After 2 days, it is consuming 3.4 GB of RAM. The only workaround I found is stoping the service with "systemctl stop kesl". Even if you restart it, the memory usage will keep growing endlessly. That's probably a 3-month (so far) memory-leak bug.

Hi, sorry for my instrusion but lately since I can remember but since May 2020 my Kaspersky Internet Security 20.0 of 64 bits have been consuming memory very much lately and nowadays are using 200 mb even more. On total along main resources and svchost.exe process I’m running everyday 3.09 gb to 3.40 gb just to idle and have the program in the background doing nothing.

Both of avpui.exe and avp.exe together have been consuming more than 500 to 600 mb.

I’ve tried and ran the procedure to defrag, search for errors in the disk, used CCleaner and made a scan to clean some directories and yet nothing so far linked could be a hardware problem to my end. And now I have quickly searched for this and I am curious if all of Kaspersky applications are in common getting the same issue on memory usage being to high in the past 5 months.

Greetings, once more I have may have found an issue that might connected to this subject with high usage of RAM memory or leak it does and it seems the issue start when I open Kaspersky Internet Security 20.0.14.1085(K)interface and start checking every component I find essential to keep on because OCD signs and after I do that check I see on task manager the use of 3.19 to 3.27 gb of ram when on resource management nothing indicate the amount of that consumption except that avp.exe and avpui.exe do use around 100 mb to 300 mb depending if there are some actvity like updating or making specific scan however on standbye the consumption of these two process should be at 99 mb and 167 mb and my total RAM memory would be at 1.69 gb but instead because of unknown and problem due to bad update on these last 5 months might be the cause to using this big amount of RAM memory.

So today after I had notice a small trick done yesterday using Windows 7 Professional 64 bits restauration tool I have made a new checkpoint and magically the consumption of RAM that was at 3.09 to 3.27 gb on standby went back to 1.69 to 1.53 gb.

I have putt to test this trick again today and did work. I have erased all checkpoints from Windows and made a new one and RAM memory went back to below 1.90 gb.

The RAM leak might be linked to openning of the application interface and by accessing configuration to check inside every component somehow elevate the consumption fo RAM memory to abnormal and doesn’t go back.
