Someone I do not know is remote accessing my computer

I often come to my laptop computer via wired ethernet(using starlink internet) and I see my mouse moving. I have to take back control, unplug ethernet, and then get back on. Sometimes they go away, sometimes not. It has been better since installing Kaspersky. I am hoping to get rid of this safety risk completely.

It may happen when the battery in the mouse is dead. Or the mouse is faulty. Or it is used on an unsuitable surface without a mousepad.

Thank you. I have a wired mouse. The surface is a mouse pad. This does not seem likely the issue.

On the contrary, it looks like the issue is in the mouse.) Try another one, or use another usb-port for your mouse, or use only the touchpad - just for testing.

Is the mouse moving erratically, or do you notice it trying to access sensitive information on your system?
