solution to Kaspersky & Roboform conflict

Recommended Posts

Greetings

let me begin with a proof:

this proves that Kaspersky 2020 suspected that c:\windows\system32\tasks\run roboform process is infected. it is not the former file I complained above. moreover it is not a roboform file at all. I compared to previous version file which was clean and there are 2 differences: date and version. other than that it is a readable & editable xml file.

another proof is this:

I let Kaspersky “disinfect” the file without restart and now I’m in KAV 2020 and roboform 8.6.6.7

but still puzzled why no one before tackled this problem

many thanks to all

you have been most helpful

to add to this confusion, after restart (to see that roboform is in the tray, and he is) Kaspersky jumped again:

found something in memory and deleted. Nothing to do with roboform

hope it doesn’t happen every restart

thanks again

Hello @Ziv,

Welcome again!

Thank you for updating us👌 .

  1. May I ask why you’ve raised a new Topic🤔 ?
  2. Just so there’s no misunderstanding, I believe you, with or without data & images, I simply state I cannot replicate the issue.
  3. May I have an exported KIS Report please, select ALL Events, select 24hrs, save the Report as a .txt file & attach📎 to your reply please?
  4. Have you raised the issue with Kaspersky Technical Support?
  5. Just as FYI, I’ve installed Roboform to a different system, using a different account, it’s not default installing to C:\Windows\System32:  RoboTaskBarIconRoboTaskBarIcon 🤔 & I don’t have Run Roboform process
  6. Have you uninstalled & reinstalled Roboform?

Please let me know?

Thank you🙏
