Hello,

I'm having a problem after installing the safe kids app on a Samsung S22 Ultra and Samsung S25+

After pulling the notifications tab down on the phone, a white screen shows up in the background and the rotation lock on the phone is ignored. So if the phone is upright there's no problem, except this white background appearing but it's no problem. However if the phone is even slightly tilted the phone will keep rotating back and forth between landscape and portrait mode in a loop, untill the phone is upright again and it stops.

I've made a recording of the issue here and tried turning on and off the rotation lock with the same issue happening: https://photos.app.goo.gl/h9v6BoVjHZJ48dHj9

It's similar to this issue if you managed to solve it: https://forum.kaspersky.com/topic/samsung-white-screen-when-notifications-are-pulled-down-16410/

Hello @Haugud

Welcome!

  1. Please share the OS version & One UI of both S22 Ultra  & Samsung S25+?
  2. Does a child use either Samsung?
  3. Is Knox active on either Samsung?
  4. We're having difficulty accessing the recording, would you kindly upload to any secure cloud-service - Google-drive for example & post the share link please?
  5. @Snerd never responded.

Please post back?
Thank you🙏

  1. Please address these issues & report "if the phone is even slightly tilted the phone will keep rotating back and forth between landscape and portrait mode in a loop" issue persists?

Thank you🙏

About the KSK logo not showing on the status bar, I have no idea how to fix it, as far as I know, I gave the app all the permissions it asked for and it also works blocking all the activities I don't want. I think it's just Samsung not showing a logo for apps open in the background. Instead, when I press the Recent apps button it has a dialogue saying 1 app is open in the background and it's KSK.

I tried blocking the Settings app like you described, but the problem persists.

  • Thanks 1

Hello @Haugud

Thank you for the information!

Please do the following, on *both* Androids, go to Settings, *don't grant access*, IF the screen is BLOCKED, take a screen-print & then select the X at the top right of the screen so the BLOCK screen disappears, taken another screen-print = 4 screen-prints in total - please post - identify 22 & 25 - so we know the difference - *IMPORTANT -> hide any personal information before posting*

We're still working on the screens rotating.

Thank you🙏
