Safe Kids Turn off app

I have changed my password, but still my child is able to turn off his app on his device using the old password. 

How to correct this?

2. On the child’s android, has the parent profile ever been applied? 
3. How is Settings configured ? 
4. Is 2 step verification enabled? 
5. Has KSK been uninstalled & clean installed according to documented instructions?
