Has anyone tried Safe kids on the new M1 macs?  Kaspersky has yet to offer native support, and I wanted to see if anyone had installed and used it via rosetta and if it worked well without any performance hit?

Hello @safeappleksproducts, Welcome.

Unfortunately I have only second hand information. According to this, KIS runs on Rosetta 2. The performance is sufficient, but due to the principle not as good as on x86 CPUs.

There should be a native version in Q1/Q2. This will certainly also apply to Safe Kids, if Apple approves the product.

Thanks for the reply.  So it is confirmed that safe kids won’t work properly through rosetta on these macs?

Thanks!  You have been the most helpful so far in my quest of this.  So, are you saying that it might work through rosetta but it’s not officially supported?  Or does it not even work at all and needs to be updated to be native first?

According to my information KSK will not work through Rosetta.
