Restricting Time on Multiple Computers

Is it possible to restrict a child’s time on multiple computers using the same child profile? We have several kids and two computers and need to be able to apply their profile restrictions to either device they use. The computers run Windows 10 and each child has an individual account on each computer.

Hello @Amya,

Welcome!

  • The same KSK child profile (for each child) can certainly be used on any Windows device each of your children use, however, managing the device use time cannot be combined, across the devices
  • There’s similar posts, with many contributions from parents who wish the feature was available:

  • The best way to progress any development request is via the Kaspersky Technical Support team. Some of Kaspersky’s product development evaluations are based on numbers, the more a feature is requested, sometimes the higher the possibility of implementation; use the FeedbackI have a Suggestion template (see template guide at the end of our reply).
  • After submitting the case, you’ll receive an automated email with an INC+12digits reference number, then, normally, within 5 business days, a Kaspersky Technical Support human will communicate with you, also by email, you may continue to engage with the Kaspersky Technical Team via email or by updating the INC in your MyKaspersky account.
  • Note: the process may take a very long time, each request is measured against many benchmarks and not all requests are successful.
  • When feedback from the Kaspersky Technical Team is available, please share it here in the Kaspersky Community?

Thank you🙏

Hello @Amya,

On each computer, Standard local Windows accounts must be created for each child (not shown in image), then, image1→ KSK application → 2, with you signed in as Parent, each child must be added → 3 & 4, image2 → child Amya created, select Assign to join the KSK child profile with the Windows child profile, image3 → Amya assigned a Standard user Windows account

If you get stuck, post images please, so we can see where the problem is, that way we’ll be able to step you thru the process.

Thank you🙏
