Repeatedly prompted for permission when using VPN Express

I am using VPN Express for my VPN connection. Every day I get prompted multiple times to approve usage of  “a new PPP connection”. I can find no reason for this. The VPN network is visible in Kaspersky as a trusted network. 

Note: I know that Kaspersky offers a VPN service of its own, but I am not planning to use this option.

Hello,

You can uninstall kaspersky security connect application. Any better ?

or right-click your vpn apater and select Edit and set it as public network, Any better ?

I thought I solved it but it was nog true

 

I cannot find “kaspersky security connect application”?

I am using Kaspersky Internet Security

You can grant permission for max 30 minutes, then you will be prompted again.

Still there is no answer. But there is hope. I have one machine that keeps on prompting me, the other one does not. The only problem is that I can not figure out what the difference is between the two…..

  • On the machine with the problem, which KIS version & patch(x) x = letter,  is installed, on the Windows taskbar, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select About

@ADHC Is your ISP supporting PPP protocol ?

Apparantly yes. Everything functioned perfectly before I installed Kaspersky

Actual Kaspersky level is (KIS) 21.2.16.590 (b)

I have done a complete re-install of ExpresVPN. No result. I will contact support
