Hello everyone,

I cannot perform remote activation from my KSC12 console, despite the fact that I have licenses available and the agent installed.
Could you give me the steps to follow?
THANKS.

for starters, you have a very old version of KSC, which has been removed from full technical support since April 1, 2023, probably like the solutions of older versions installed on your end devices. this might be part of the problem...

I would recommend scheduling an upgrade of the software products used on your network

need more information to understand what you are failing... how you try to distribute new keys, what errors occur in the process, etc.

to distribute keys to client devices, you can use the following ways, provided that both the network administration agent and the protection client are installed and working correctly, and the new key is added to the administration server

1. use the appropriate task to add the key (each product has its own KES, KSWS, etc.)

2. in the license store, assign a new auto-revocation key to your devices.

without further information, I can assume some possible problems that you might have.

you have added a new license to the administration server in the form of an activation code, and are trying to distribute it to client devices (using one of the methods indicated above, for example) - however, to activate this code on client devices, you need Internet access from this client device, and in your case it's not there... the system can't check the code and activate it accordingly.

to do this, the activation code can be turned into a key file and client devices can be activated using the (offline) key file

https://keyfile.kaspersky.com/en/

if you used exactly key files (of which there should be two), then you may have mixed them up (although it is unlikely) since one is used to activate KSC functions, and the second one is used to activate KES client applications

Hi everybody,

It was a lack of license.
