removal of all emails for last 6 years by kaspersky, like seriously?

well, i installed the kaspersky anti virus and a few days later it said it found all these trojan viruses in my emails so i clicked repair as you would.

stupid program deleted 6 years of emails i sent and received, wtf!

what a joke, program is supposed to protect you not make you spend 4 days trying to open an email draft you have had on your pc for years and years. All my emails are gone, just ridiculous this program removes the entire pst file and then you cant get them back. i want my money back on this pile of junk please. what program would do this?

 

i read multiple posts and forums and found answers that state:

reinstate the file from quarantine then import the pst file into outlook program. (this does not work as the file is corrupted and says it is not a pst file)

then to repair a pst file u use scanpst.ee and this is supposed to fix things. well no sir it didnt. it repaired the pst file i got out of quarantine and thousands of emails are not there and neither are all the folders I had.

i tried to ust open the file using file/open/open outlook data file

this does not work either

 

it seems kasperky doesnt help me at all and infact has cost me money by removing all my emails. this is not what i expected from an antivirus program.

 

if some genius knows a fix I would love to know as currently I cannot see how I can get my emails back and if that is the case, I will remove this kaspersky program as it is obviously not good for use if it can delete  years of emails whenever it feels like it.

Please log a request with Kaspersky Customer Service  - https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts, on the support page, select either Email or Chat, then fill in the template as shown; please include a *detailed history*

• *Also* -> IF using Chat - ask the operator to email (you) a copy of the chat transcript *before* ending the chat - otherwise (you'll) have no record of the chat*
