The KasperskyPassword Manager Icon in Chrome (top right corner) is red. As soon as I click on it another window opens and tells me to install the application though it is already installed.

I am running Windows 10 Pro. Version 10.0.19043 Build 19043

Google Chrome Version 92.0.4515.131 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Welcome!

  1. KTS version & patch(x), x =letter → on Windows Taskbar or hidden icons, rightclick the KTS icon, select About
  2. KPM version & patch(x), x =letter → on Windows Taskbar or hidden icons, rightclick the KPM icon, select About
  3. In the Chrome browser → KPM extension version
  4. In the Chrome browser, is the KPM extension on → image 1? 
  5. In KPM application, for Google chrome, does KPM extension show as installed → image 2?  
  6. Close all browsers. 
  7. Backup KPM → image 3.
  8. Uninstall KPM only.
  9. Shutdown the computer, using Shutdown, not Restart, power on, login.
  10. Download & clean install KPM.
  11. Recheck red KPM extension icon?
