Can you limit a kid's time per day AND set a schedule or can you only use one option at a time? This is not clear from the system. For example i want to block apps after 9:00 and also allow a maximum of 3 hours a day

Hello  @Stan65,

Welcome!

Unfortunately, the KSK, Device use, warn/block by daily usage & warn/block by schedule, cannot be combined.

There is an escalated request, actually a number of requests, to have both made available.

Additionally, the KSK ADD TIME INTERVAL, (specify when to limit device use, select the hours to limit device use during this time), feature, has also been escalated as it’s only possible to configure ONE time interval is any 24hr cycle, which is absurd, in any schedule/calendar, making multiple “configurations” is standard and basic.

There is no ETA for the escalated issues.

Kaspersky KSK Developers are generally not “fast” accomodating issues that would make KSK suitable for real world parents, managing real world children.

The Lab “claims”, the more people who contact them, the more likely they are to prioritize an escalation. Their “rationale” if only one parent raises the issue, then it’s an issue for one parent, therefore, not an issue😡

Best regards🙏

Do how do you make such a request or do they read this forum?

Hello @Stan65,

Thank you for replying and being proactive👏

Re “Do they read the Community posts?”, one would think & hope they did, however, it makes no difference, the “process” is, individuals have to “express” their concerns individually & directly to the Kaspersky Lab Technical Team.

Re: “How”
Log into your MyKaspersky (online account), use url:

https://my.kaspersky.com/techsupport#/requests/new

(I’ve filled in the template for you to follow, if your device is not Windows 10, choose the device/operating system that you have)

Note, after submitting the incident, you’ll receive an automated email with an INC number in the following format INC + 12 numbers, for example INC000010992999. After receiving the automated email, and a period of some days, a “human” will contact you via email and provide feedback about the INC, it’s important to communicate to them the request has been made by multiple parents. You may also add to the email & send it back to the Lab with any comments or you can update the INC in your MyKaspersky account.

Thank you🙏 .
