Purchasing a New License While Having an Active Kaspersky Subscription

Hello everyone,
I’m a Kaspersky user and currently have an active subscription. However, I’m considering purchasing a new license. I’m a bit confused about how the new license would interact with my existing subscription:

  • Will the new license extend the current subscription’s duration?
  • Or will it be treated as a separate license and used independently?
  • Which option is more beneficial?

If anyone has experience or knowledge about this, could you please share your insights? Suggestions from those who faced a similar situation would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hello @xerus
Welcome!

  1. IF (you) purchase a new Kaspersky subscription from a Kaspersky website, it will activate when the payment is processed & then there will be two active subscriptions, please keep reading...
  2. The new Kaspersky subscriptions purchased from Kaspersky websites use License codes, not Activation keys; the License key is sent directly to (your) MyKaspersky account; read: Where to find the activation code for Kaspersky Standard, Plus, Premium.
  3. IF (you) purchase the same subscription as the existing subscription / license (you) will need to log a request with Kaspersky Customer Service & ask them to merge the two subscriptions, however, if the new subscription / license is different - for example - the current license is Standard & the new license is Plus, again, you need to log a request with Kaspersky Customer Service & ask them to reset the activation so that it starts when the existing license expires.
  4. To log a request with Kaspersky Customer Service, https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts - select either Chat or Email, then fill in the  template as shown; include a *detailed history*; select (your) Kaspersky application from the drop-down-list (A)             image.thumb.png.f3de9202f2618781116d24946736f2e4.png
  • *Also* -> IF using Chat - *before* ending the chat -> ask the operator to email (you) a copy of the chat transcript - otherwise (you'll) have no record of the chat*

Any questions or issues, please post back?

Thank you🙏
