Hi everyone,

I'm currently experiencing some challenges with my Intel server setup and a Kaspersky product. As someone relatively new to managing both hardware and software in this capacity, I could really use some advice from those more experienced.

Here are the specifics of my setup:

  • Server Setup: Intel server with high-end CPUs, ample RAM, and SSD storage capacity.
  • Kaspersky Product: Kaspersky Endpoint Security

The Issues:

  1. Performance Challenges: Kaspersky Endpoint Security is not performing as expected on my Intel server, particularly during full system scans and real-time protection. There are noticeable slowdowns and performance bottlenecks.

  2. Installation and Configuration Difficulties: During the setup of Kaspersky Endpoint Security on my Intel server, I encountered several hurdles. While I managed to complete the installation, I suspect there may be lingering configuration issues affecting performance and usability.

  3. Integration and Compatibility Concerns: I'm facing compatibility issues with certain applications and third-party integrations within Kaspersky Endpoint Security. These issues are disrupting workflows and leading to reduced efficiency in system protection.

Steps Taken So Far:

  • I've ensured that my hardware setup meets or exceeds the recommended specifications for Kaspersky Endpoint Security.
  • I've followed the installation and setup documentation for Kaspersky Endpoint Security meticulously.
  • I've reviewed and adjusted system configurations and resource allocations to optimize performance.

Despite my efforts, the challenges persist. Have any of you encountered similar issues with Kaspersky Endpoint Security on Intel servers? Are there specific configurations, optimizations, or troubleshooting techniques you've found effective? Any advice, insights, or recommended resources would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello Judy,

the problems you are describing need more troubleshooting and analyzis which should not be done in the forum.

Please open a Supportticket here: https://CompanyAccount.kaspersky.com

We need to take a more deeper look at the device information, so please first use our GSI tool and upload the resulting file to your new ticket. This should speed up the analysis:
https://support.kaspersky.com/3632
(Please run as Administrator and include Event Logs)

In addition it might be helpful to get some version information depending on problem description and environment:

- On-Prem or Cloud Endpoint Version
- Kaspersy Security Center and Network Agent Version (if in use)

Best Regards
