Problem with picking right product. On demand command line scanning.

Hi,

I'm doing a small project that uses antivirus engines to detect malware families (something like virustotal which I could use to can files I do not want to distribute). In order to do so, I'm looking for command line on demand file scanner which works on linux.

From what I’ve found there is Endpoint Security for Linux which supports both on demand scanning and can run on linux platform. But it also comes with a whole bunch of other features I’m not interested in (like run-time protection). Moreover there is a problem with a license as the minimal number of devices is 10, while I just need a small service running on a single device.

I’ve noticed there is also very promising Kaspersky anti-virus software development kit. However it is not well documented. Is there any documentation for it and information about how I can acquire it (and what is a yearly cost of a license)?

Finally, maybe there is better Kaspersky product that fits my usecase?

Thanks!
